From Idea to Action

At BMONK DAO, we value the collective intelligence of our community. We've established a clear process for turning ideas into impactful actions through DAO proposals.

Stage 1 - Community Brainstorming:

The proposal journey starts with an idea. Any BMONK DAO community member can suggest a project, initiative, or action to enhance the BMONK project and ecosystem. These ideas can cover a wide range of activities, from NFT acquisitions to marketing campaigns, technical development, community engagement, and more.

Stage 2 - Creating an Official Proposal:

Once an idea gains positive sentiment within the community, it’s formalized into an official DAO proposal. The original proposer or any eligible DAO member can start this process. To create an official proposal, the wallet must hold at least 50,000 $BMONK tokens. If a member lacks this amount, they can collaborate with other eligible token holders to publish the proposal on their behalf. This ensures the proposal has community support.

Proposal Details:

Proposals in BMONK DAO play a central role in shaping the project’s direction. They can include various initiatives, such as NFT acquisitions, development, marketing, partnerships, research, and community activities.

NFT Acquisition Proposals:

These focus on acquiring NFT collections to expand our treasury. The process includes:

• Community Brainstorming: Any BMONK DAO member can discuss potential NFT collections. Proposals can be presented on the official BMONK DAO Discord server or the dedicated proposal forum on our website.

• Creating an Official Proposal: Proposals with strong community support move to the official proposal stage. The proposing wallet must hold a minimum of 500,000 $BMONK tokens.

• Proposal Details: The official proposal must describe the project comprehensively, including the requested amount in BNB or $BMONK tokens. For NFT acquisition proposals, the receiving wallet must be the BMONK DAO's designated multisig wallet, secured by cosigners from reputable DAO delegates.

• Voting: Proposals undergo a voting process. If "Yes" votes exceed the predefined threshold, the proposal is approved, and funds are transferred from the DAO Treasury to the designated wallet for execution.

Other Proposals:

BMONK DAO encourages proposals beyond NFT acquisitions that contribute to the project's growth. These proposals can cover development, marketing, partnerships, research, and community activities. Proposers for these projects can specify a receiving wallet address of their choice. For non-NFT proposals, proposers are encouraged to build trust within the community by being transparent about their credentials and experience.

Stage 3 - Voting:

The heart of the proposal process is the voting phase. For a proposal to be executed, it must receive a majority of "Yes" votes from the community. The predefined threshold for "Yes" votes ensures that proposals with broad community support move forward.

Funding from DAO Treasury:

Once a proposal passes the voting stage, the required funds are allocated from the BMONK DAO Treasury to the designated wallet specified in the proposal. The cosigners of this wallet execute the approved proposal, whether it involves NFT acquisitions, technical development, marketing initiatives, community events, or educational programs. This process ensures that community-approved projects can quickly move forward, contributing to BMONK's growth and advancement.
